Where does he work?
Mr McLintock is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to the East & North Herts NHS Trust which comprises The Lister Hospital, Stevenage, Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Welwyn Garden City and Hertford County Hospital, Hertford.
Mr McLintock is available for Gynaecological consultation. Patients should normally be referred for consultation by their General Practitioner.
Referrals can be made to any of the hospitals to which he has admitting rights (see below) or direct by letter, fax or email to his private office. It is extremely helpful to have sight of a referral letter before the actual consultation with the patient.
NHS Practice
Clinic times are on Monday mornings at QE II and Thursday afternoon at Hertford County Hospital and include a urogynaecology clinic, a menopause clinic and a fertility clinic. Those with menstrual disorders are seen in all clinics as are those with suspected cancer.

How Do I Book an NHS Appointment?
You should ask your GP to send a referral letter, addressed to Mr McLintock, to Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Howlands, Welwyn Garden City, Herts, AL7 4HQ. The outpatient clerks will then allocate an appropriate appointment. It is not yet clear how the Government's "Choose and Book" initiative will work.
How Do I Book A Private Appointment?
You have two options. Either telephone Mr McLintock's private secretary on 01707 871540. She will discuss with you the most appropriate time and place for your consultation and then make the appointment for you. Or telephone your chosen private hospital and make an appointment. They will inform Mr McLintock's office. Please make sure that your GP has sent a referral letter to Mr McLintock. It is often helpful to bring a copy to the consultation.
